Dr. Anu Kunjur

Mrs. Anu Kunjur is a highly accomplished dental professional, currently serving as the Director of Chichester Smiles Dental Practice Ltd.
Her career began in India, where she graduated from dental school and completed a Masters in Oral Surgery. After relocating to the UK, she gained valuable experience as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Southampton NHS University Hospital Trust and Salisbury NHS District Hospitals.
With over 20 years in the field, Mrs. Kunjur is a staunch advocate for Continuing Professional Education and specializes in Minor Oral Surgical Procedures, particularly the surgical removal of impacted wisdom teeth and dental implants under local anesthesia.
She holds prestigious postgraduate qualifications, including the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons from the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow and the Diploma of Membership of Joint Dental Faculties from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
As a Clinical Director, she is dedicated to ensuring the practice maintains high standards through her leadership and the support of her reliable and committed team. Outside of her professional life, Mrs. Kunjur enjoys traveling and cherishing moments with her husband and two daughters.

Dr. Jayanth Kunjur

Mr. Jayanth Kunjur is a highly accomplished Clinical Director at Chichester Smiles Dental Practice Ltd, bringing a wealth of expertise to his role.
With an impressive dual qualification as both a dentist and a medical doctor, Jayanth boasts 22 years of experience in the field of dentistry. His career has included significant stints in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery departments across various hospitals along the south coast of England, culminating in a prestigious position as a Consultant at Salisbury Hospital.
For over 15 years, he has specialized in performing Oral Surgical procedures under Local Anesthesia, including Dental Implants, showcasing his skill and precision in the field.
His professional accolades include the Fellowship in Dental Surgery and Membership from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, highlighting his commitment to excellence.
Outside of his professional life, Jayanth enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, and indulges in hobbies such as cricket and exploring electronic gadgets.

Dr. Alexandra Valencia Wright
BDS (Barcelona)
Mrs Alexandra Valencia Wright, a distinguished graduate with honors from Barcelona University, has carved a niche in the field of cosmetic dentistry. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for transforming smiles, Dr. Wright prioritizes creating bespoke treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
Her approach not only focuses on enhancing dental aesthetics but also on improving overall oral health, ensuring a comprehensive care experience.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Wright channels her enthusiasm into fitness, often hitting the slopes for some invigorating snowboarding sessions. She also loves exploring new destinations, often accompanied by her beloved husband, adding an adventurous spirit to her well-rounded life.

Vanessa qualified from Pretoria University in South Africa. She has 20 years of experience in general dentistry. Vanessa has been an Associate Dentist at Chichester Smiles Dental Practice for more than 15 yrs.
Vanessa offers patient care of the highest standard & endeavors to give you a healthy and confident smile. She builds long lasting dental relationships and is both passionate & dedicated to helping you achieve your goal.

Amanda is one of the Dental Hygienists at Canal Crest Dental Practice, and formerly also at one of the sister practices, Chichester Smiles Dental Practice in West Street, Chichester, prior to moving across to Canal Crest.
Amanda has worked in dentistry for over 40 years, including teaching on the dental nurses course in Worthing, 33 years of which has been practising as a Hygienist, qualifying from the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff in 1993.
During this time, gaining much valued knowledge and experience, working in a variety of practices, including working closely with specialist Periodontal dentists/clinics, as well as working in the very first flagship corporate group of practices founded in London, working closely with specialist dental practitioners across fields such as dental Implants and orthodontics, learning many skills in the continued maintenance of oral health, linked with these disciplines.
Amanda continues to enjoy being a professional, accomplished, valued member of the practice team, and to all her patients and colleagues.
Outside of her professional life, enjoying her family time, a passion for horses especially, with reading and general fitness and walking, amongst leisure activities.

Dental Therapist & Hygienist
Dona Sam is a GDC-registered Dental Therapist and Hygienist at Canal Crest Dental Practice, with a passion for preventive dentistry, periodontal health and helping patients achieve a healthy, confident smile. She provides gentle, patient-centred care in a friendly and reassuring environment, taking the time to understand each patient’s individual needs.
Dona’s areas of interest include dental hygiene, periodontal care, professional airflow stain removal, preventive dentistry and tooth whitening. She enjoys helping patients improve both the health and appearance of their smiles through tailored hygiene care, personalised oral health advice and professional whitening treatments.
With an MSc in Public Health, Dona has a strong interest in prevention and patient education. She believes that maintaining good oral health is an important part of overall wellbeing and is committed to helping patients develop effective, sustainable oral hygiene habits.
Dona also understands that visiting the dentist can be daunting for some patients. Her calm and approachable manner helps patients feel comfortable, listened to and well cared for throughout their treatment.

Anita is a Level 4 Aesthetic Therapist with over eight years of clinical experience across dental healthcare, luxury wellness and leading doctor-led aesthetic clinics.
She specialises in advanced skin rejuvenation treatments, clinical skin assessments and medical-grade skincare protocols, with a strong focus on treatment safety, efficacy and patient outcomes.
Anita develops evidence-informed, personalised treatment plans and supports patients throughout their aesthetic journey. She is experienced in multidisciplinary clinical environments and is committed to exceptional standards of patient care, hygiene, compliance and professional practice.
Michelle Martin
Receptionist
Michelle is the Receptionist at Canal Crest Dental Practice, bringing 35 years of experience in dentistry as both a Dental Nurse and Receptionist.
She enjoys welcoming patients to the practice and helping them feel comfortable and at ease from the moment they arrive. With her extensive experience, Michelle understands how important a friendly, reassuring welcome can be particularly for patients who may feel nervous about visiting the dentist.
Michelle takes pride in creating a calm, welcoming atmosphere and ensuring every patient feels looked after. One of her favourite parts of the role is getting to know patients and being a familiar, friendly face at reception, whether she is helping with an appointment, answering a question or simply having a chat.
Outside of work, Michelle enjoys long walks along the beach and spending precious time with her grandchildren. She is proud to be part of the Canal Crest team and contribute to the warm, caring environment created for every patient.

Mel is a dedicated Dental Nurse and Treatment Coordinator at Canal Crest Dental Practice, with a passion for creating a positive and comfortable experience for every patient.
With experience supporting clinical teams and coordinating treatment journeys, she combines clinical knowledge with a warm, patient-focused approach. Mel takes pride in helping patients feel relaxed, informed and supported throughout their time at Canal Crest.
Whether assisting during treatment or helping patients understand the next steps in their dental journey, Mel aims to make every interaction personal and reassuring. She believes great patient care is about more than treatment itself, it is about listening, building trust and ensuring every patient feels genuinely looked after from the moment they arrive.
